RICHMOND DAIRY APARTMENTS
Originally a dairy factory, the building was transformed into a modern apartment complex which involved a complete renovation and transformation.
The Richmond Dairy Apartments is an excellent example of adaptive reuse in Richmond, Virginia. Originally a dairy factory, the building was transformed into a modern apartment complex which involved a complete renovation and transformation. Now housing 99 new multifamily residential units, this $12M historical renovation utilizing historic tax credits now offers a unique living experience with its distinctive tudor-revival design and the iconic milk bottles on each building corner. This adaptive re-use not only helped revitalize the area but also now provides affordable housing options to the community.
